The 2023 PSAC Regional Conference for Racially Visible Members will be held March 24-26th, 2023 at the Shaw Center under the theme “Centering our Power: Empowerment, Engagement, Advocacy and Union Leadership’’.
PSAC has worked to create a more sustainable Conference to reduce our carbon footprint. Our actions have included reducing the amount of paper and materials distributed. To this effect, we suggest that you bring your laptop to this Conference. Details of the agenda and other documents will be available on our website. We will only distribute copies for those who made the request on the registration form. Together, we can make a difference.
The objectives of the 2023 PSAC Regional Conference for Racially Visible Members are to:
- Engage and connect racialized members with their union
- Provide tools for leadership, engagement, and advocacy in the union
- Consult on the PSAC’s anti-racism action plan
It’s time to show support and we look forward to having the racially members join us at the Conference!
Registration Deadline: February 3, 2023
Deadline for receipt of resolutions: February 1st, 2023
Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Delegate costs to the 2023 PSAC National Conference for Racially Visible Members will be fully covered as per the PSAC Travel Directive. Costs covered are as follows:
▪ loss of salary;
▪ child care as per the Family Care Policy;
▪ Parking on site
▪ costs related to accessibility requirements
