Labour Day 2025

The Ottawa District Labour Council is organizing a Labour Day parade. The Ottawa Area Council is organizing PSAC-NCR’s delegation, and we are excited to march together!  

After the parade through downtown Ottawa, we will gather for a big picnic in McNabb Park. Bring a blanket, some snacks, some games and enjoy a few hours of fun. 

Here’s how you can get involved on parade day: 

Join us at 233 Gilmour Street starting at 10:00 a.m. to make your own sign or banner before we head to the parade.

If you want to skip sign-making, meet us at the start of the parade route, along Lisgar and Cartier St, next to City Hall. Look out for the PSAC flags and banner between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The parade will step off shortly after 12:00 p.m.

After the parade, join us at McNabb Park starting at 1:00 p.m. for a picnic with food, music, and friends.
