Union Threads: A Craft-In for Women’s Power (Hybrid Event)

Join the Ottawa Regional Women’s Committee (ORWC) and women across Ontario for a hybrid craft-in celebrating International Women’s Day and the 50th anniversary of the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) Women’s Committee.
This interactive evening honours the long tradition of women gathering to create, organize, and build collective power — a legacy often called craftivism.

Participants will knit, crochet, bead, stitch, weave, or colour while engaging in conversation about the political and social justice issues shaping women’s lives and workplaces today.

1. Attend in person (Ottawa NCR satellite gathering) – Craft supplies provided for in-person participants

Register through the OFL RSVP link. A Zoom link, craft pattern, instructions, and materials list will be sent after registration. Virtual participants are responsible for purchasing their own materials.
All skill levels welcome — including beginners.
