Treasury Board members are participating in the ‘Day in Black’ action April 29 to signify the state of negotiations

What is the action?  

Members in the workplace:  Wear black and use the ‘I Support my Bargaining Team’ tools and placards. Speak with your local for materials or make your own.  

Members in uniform: Wear ‘I Support my Bargaining Team’ materials and take photos with PSAC placards when safe to do at work or virtually.   

Why April 29?  

April 29th is the day most bargaining teams will be meeting in Ottawa with the employer.  

What is the goal?  

A unified action that is visible and shows the employer that members are engaged and paying attention. It’s also an opportunity for members to talk to each other about bargaining issues that are most important to them.  

What is the follow-up to this action?  

Members are encouraged to take photos of themselves wearing black in the workplace and in virtual settings with union messaging and send to PSAC NCR general inbox or your regional PSAC NCR rep.
