CLC CONVENTION May 11-15 2026
APPLICATION FOR DELEGATE CONSIDERATION – NCR
Dear Friends,
The 31st Constitutional Convention of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) will be held May 11–15, 2026, in Winnipeg, with a PSAC caucus taking place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, prior to the opening of Convention.
PSAC will fully fund delegates from across the country. For the National Capital Region (NCR), the following delegate positions are available:
· Equity Delegates: 2
· Young Worker Delegate: 1
Equity Delegates
Equity delegates representing the NCR will be selected through PSAC’s national process.
To be considered, applicants must:
· Self-identify as a member of an equity group (women, Indigenous peoples, racialized peoples, persons with disabilities, or members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities);
· Hold a union position within PSAC;
· Be available for the full duration of the Convention, including the PSAC caucus held on Sunday, May 10, 2026; and
· Attend the CLC equity caucuses and forums, which are held outside official Convention hours.

Responses to the questions will be considered in the selection process of the equity delegates representing PSAC.
The Alliance Executive Committee will review all applications and make the final selection of the equity delegates to the CLC Convention.
Applicants will be notified if they have been selected by February 20, 2026.
Young Worker Delegate
The CLC defines a young worker as a member 30 years of age or younger. If the elected representative does not meet the CLC age definition, the NCR delegate will be determined by the Regional Executive Vice-President in accordance with PSAC requirements.
