Celebrate activists at PSAC-NCR’s 2025 Member Appreciation Event

PSAC-NCR is lucky to be home to so many incredible activists. We want to recognize these members and all they do to improve the labour movement and our union. This is why we are hosting a member appreciation event.

When? Friday, May 2 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Where? Ottawa Art Gallery

Who? All current and former members of PSAC-NCR, as well as their guests.

This event will feature:

• Mingling and networking for regional activists
• Delivery of PSAC NCR’s 2025 member appreciation awards, including Committee Awards.

Light food and drinks will be provided. All current PSAC members will be provided with 1 drink ticket. All other drinks will be available for purchase. Please RSVP to ensure accurate numbers.

About the venue

• PSAC-NCR strives to ensure our events are scent-free. We ask that attendees avoid using any scented products (including perfume, cologne, hairsprays, lotions, etc.) so that those with severe allergies are able to attend the event.
• Masks are not required at this event. If you have symptoms of respiratory illness, organizers ask that you please stay home.
• Paid parking is available at the venue.
• The venue is wheelchair accessible.
• Accessible and gender-neutral washrooms are available. Washrooms with changing tables are also available.
• The following allergens may be present in the food provided:

6:45 p.m.: Delivery of Committee Awards

7:15 p.m.:  Break

7:30 p.m.: Delivery of region-wide awards: Human rights, Federal public service, Community, PSAC, and Philippe Célestin Award

8:00 p.m.: Closing remarks
