Indigenous women – Calls for Justice

Almost 6 years after the final report from the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (#MMIWG), which included 231 calls for justice, we have seen very little action or concrete change in the lives of Indigenous women on Turtle Island.

During this presentation, our special guest Tina Vincent, Indigenous Knowledge Keeper, will talk about Indigenous women on Turtle Island (Canada), statistics, the reality of Indigenous women in indigenous communities, and calls for justice and how to move forward.
