We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to honour the positive impact of Latin American Canadians, recognizing their essential role in shaping our nation’s identity, economy, and cultural landscape. From groundbreaking achievements in science and leadership to lasting influences in the arts, music, food, and literature, their contributions continue to enrich Canadian society.

At the same time, we must also acknowledge the ongoing barriers many members of the community face, and reaffirm our collective commitment to equity, inclusion, and the full participation of Latin American Canadians in all spheres of society.
