March for Social Justice in Outaouais
May 1, 4:30 p.m.
Hull Hospital
For the past several months, under the pretext of budget reduction, the government of the Coalition avenir Québec (CAQ) has made the political choice of austerity. It is cutting public services and social programs and attacking workers’ rights. The federal government is talking about budget cuts, job losses, tax cuts… what will be left of the social safety net?
On May 1, the Coalition solidarité Outaouais will march from the Hull Hospital to the office of the MP for Hull. We’ll be denouncing the $90 million in cuts to health care in the Outaouais and the attacks on workers’ rights under Bill 89. Let’s get together to tell the new federal government that it must stand up for the working class affected by this period of uncertainty linked to the trade war.
Let’s get together in the Outaouais for International Workers’ Day!
