Meeting Accessibility
The REVP-NCR’s Office is committed to an inclusive community of labor activism with accessible activities, services, and facilities that respect the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities. To make this meeting more accessible, organizers have taken the following into consideration:
- Zoom offers automatically generated live captions for every meeting which will be turned on at the start of the meeting.
- Meeting documents will be planned, formatted, and structured in an accessible manner to ensure they are compatible with assistive technology tools.
- Members attending will be given the opportunity to listen and participate in the language of their choice, French or English.
Expenses
- As the meeting is virtual, no per-diems will be allotted.
- Please note that there will be no compensation for overtime.
- Delegates who are regularly scheduled to work on Saturdays are eligible for compensation of salary upon receipt of official work or shift schedule.
- Actual loss of salary will be reimbursed for working hours lost in order to attend the meeting and eligible delegates should request a Union Authorization Letter (UAL) from the Office of the REVP.
- Where a delegate with a disability incurs additional expenses related to the accommodation of their disability, these expenses will be reimbursed provided they are reasonable and pre-authorized. Receipts are required.

Where the member is the sole caregiver at the time of this meeting, the PSAC Family Care Policy (FCP) will cover costs for care during the day outside normal work, school or daycare hours. Members are entitled to claim fees related to the care of the following family members who reside on a full- or part-time basis with the member:
