National Capital Region Council – Winter 2025 Meeting

Please join us in our next National Capital Region hybrid Council meeting on March 1, 2025. The session hours will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Registration will start at 8:30 AM, and we encourage members to join early to ensure a timely start to the meeting.
The deadline for registration is February 21, 2025.
To know how many delegates your local can register for this meeting, please refer to the entitlement list above. Please ensure that your local nominates alternate delegates in case your primary delegates are unable to attend. The meeting agenda and other documents will be made available on this webpage.
The Zoom link will be sent to participants no later than February 25, 2025.
Meeting Accessibility
The REVP-NCR’s Office is committed to an inclusive community of labor activism with accessible activities, services and facilities that respect the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities. To make this meeting more accessible, organizers have taken the following into consideration:
- Zoom offers automatically generated live captions for every meeting which will be turned on at the start of the meeting.
- Keyboard shortcuts for Zoom can be helpful and delegates can access a list of them here.
- Meeting documents will be planned, formatted and structured in an accessible manner to ensure they are compatible with assistive technology tools.
- Members attending in person will have access to headsets provided to listen in your language of choice: French or English.

Expenses
Meals for those attending in person : Lunch, along with morning and afternoon coffee, tea and snack, will be provided.
Meals for those attending virtually: Per-diems will be allotted for lunch.
Please note that there will be no compensation for overtime and no per-diems will be given for those attending in-person.
Delegates who are regularly scheduled to work on Saturdays are eligible for compensation of salary upon receipt of official work or shift schedule.
Actual loss of salary will be reimbursed for working hours lost in order to attend the meeting and eligible delegates should request a Union Authorization Letter (UAL) from the Office of the Regional Executive Vice-President.
Where a delegate with a disability incurs additional expenses related to the accommodation of their disability, these expenses will be reimbursed provided they are reasonable and pre-authorized. Receipts are required.
Family Care
Where the member is the sole caregiver at the time of this meeting, the PSAC Family Care Policy (FCP) will cover costs for care during the day outside normal work, school or daycare hours. Members are entitled to claim fees related to the care of the following family members who reside on a full- or part-time basis with the member:
- A child under 18 years of age.
- A person with disability
- An adult, who is dependent, requiring care
Delegates are encouraged to review the PSAC FCP prior to registration and should indicate their request via the meeting registration form.
