PSAC-NCR’s 2026 Racialized Member’s Conference

02/27/2026-03/01/2026, 5:00 p.m.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The theme of this year’s conference is “Village, Rooted in Strength and Rising Together”.

This conference will provide a trauma-informed environment where racialized members can share and document experiences of racism in the workplace. It will bring together racialized activists from across the NCR to honour the histories, resistance, and leadership of the racialized community within PSAC and the labour movement. It will also strengthen the leadership capacities of racialized members and prepare them for active roles within the union.

Throughout the conference, members will be able to share knowledge, develop skills, and strategize to build a sustainable and effective human rights network in the NCR.

All PSAC members in the NCR who self-identify as racialized may apply to be a participant at this conference. This conference is for members who live and work in the National Capital Region. The delegate selection will strive to ensure that participants reflect the diversity of the membership within PSAC. Please note that only participants who registered will be part of the selection process.

You are encouraged to inform members in your Local to ensure they are aware of this conference.
