March with us on International Worker’s Day (May Day), May 1st

As a longstanding international holiday, May Day is a day to celebrate the collective power of all who labour – paid and unpaid, formal and informal, in care work and field work – all of the activities that sustain us and our community. It’s a day to recommit to forging solidarity across borders against exploitation and dispossession. Above all, May Day honours the power of ordinary people, working together, to shape the conditions of our lives.

Join us and other workers in the National Capital Region to march and say loudly to the Carney government – Stop the Cuts, Remote Work Now!

We’re very excited to be marching with a lot of other groups and the Ottawa May Day Committee put together this year’s May Day march!

  • Date: Friday May 1st, 2026
  • Time: Gather at 5:00 pm ET, march departs at 5:30 pm ET
