PSAC NCR’s bylaws have been revised and shared on the PSAC NCR website.
Per resolutions from the 2024 PSAC National Triennial Convention, gender neutral language has been employed throughout the PSAC NCR bylaws, which make up the governance documents of our region. The 2024 National Convention mandated that the bylaws, policies, and regulations of all PSAC union bodies utilize gender neutral language.
Resolutions that were passed at the PSAC-NCR 2024 AGM have also been implemented in the bylaws, including:
- amendments to Regulation 4 that increased the annual maximums for individual donations and guest speaker expenses
- amendments to Article 5 to reflect the changed name of the “Members with Disabilities Access Committee”
At the 2025 AGM, taking place on June 13 and 14, further resolutions will be discussed. Registration for delegates are accepted until Friday, May 22. To learn more and confirm your attendance, please visit the PSAC NCR website.
