Rally to Protect Public Services
Following an informative and energizing town hall on workforce adjustments, let’s keep the momentum going! More than anywhere else in the country, NCR members are feeling the devastating effects of these cuts and we need to rally together!

These cuts will harm communities in the NCR by triggering widespread job losses that reduce household incomes and weaken local spending. As unemployment rises, small businesses struggle, housing stability can be affected, and demand for social services may place added pressure on local governments. This will widen inequality, and encourage skilled workers to seek opportunities elsewhere, with lasting social and economic effects.
We’re coming together to say enough:
Stop balancing budgets on workers’ backs Protect good jobs and strong public services
Come for the whole hour or drop by when you can — every voice matters.
Let’s show that workers and Canadians won’t stay silent.
I hope to see you all there!
In solidarity,
Ruth Lau-MacDonald,
Regional Executive Vice-President, PSAC-NCR
