Workers at SeedChange ratify collective agreement

PSAC-NCR is pleased to share that after a long round of bargaining members at SeedChange have ratified a new collective agreement that delivers meaningful improvements.

SeedChange works in partnership with farming communities in Canada and around the world to advance sustainable agriculture, food sovereignty, and climate resilience, supporting people who are building stronger and more equitable food systems.

The agreement includes wage increases, a signing bonus, and improved support for remote work. It also strengthens family-related benefits, enhances health coverage, and reinforces protections for bargaining unit work.

“Congratulations to all the members for their patience in getting this agreement,” said Regional Executive Vice-President Ruth Lau Macdonald. “While bargaining is never easy, this outcome reflects the strength of collective solidarity.”

This agreement represents what can be achieved when workers stand together through collective bargaining.
