PSAC-NCR Regional Women’s Conference 2025

PSAC-NCR is pleased to announce its upcoming Regional Women’s Conference 2025. 

The conference will be held in residence October 3 to 5, 2025 at the Chateau Cartier Hotel in Gatineau.

The conference will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025, and will end at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

PSAC-NCR self-identified women members in good standing may apply to be a participant at this conference.

Selection of participants will be made taking into account the following criteria: new members, involvement in union or women’s issues, Components, Directly Chartered Local, equity groups, language, and youth.

French and English simultaneous interpretation will be provided at the Conference.

FUNDING FOR PARTICIPANTS:

Participants are entitled to the following:

• travel costs according to PSAC-NCR policies;
• hotel accommodation costs will be directly billed to PSAC;
• loss of salary for regularly scheduled work days;
• meals will be provided (Per diem for dinner on Friday the 3^rd)
• daily incidental costs;
• family care as per the Family Care Policy http://psacunion.ca/family-care-policy; and
• costs related to accessibility requirements (based on pre-approval).

The application deadline is June 30, 2025, 4 p.m.

Please distribute this call-out to all eligible members. Due to possible hybrid workplaces, additional outreach is important and necessary!

Acceptances will be sent out the week of August 4, 2025.

Note: Resolutions to PSAC National Women’s Conference

The deadline to submit resolutions to the PSAC National Women’s Conference is June 6,2025. If you wish to submit a resolution, you may do so from constitutionally recognized bodies and union structure.
