Guideline/Steps for Quebec if you are an injured worker in the NCR and wish to submit a claim… >
When speaking with your local you will need to have the following information handy. This will help you and your local/component complete the required board forms.:
- PSAC Membership ID Number
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Date of Injury
- Province of Work
- Current home mailing address
- Current personal email address
- Current personal phone number
You will want to ensure to report your injury or illness via the CNESST Form. The board needs time to respond with their decision and can at times take up to 6 months to render a decision. Afterwich, you will have the opportunity to express your intention to appeal that decision via the CNESST Objection Letter. Later on once you receive a letter from the board confirming receipt of your intent to appeal submission, you can reach out to the NCR Health & Safety Representation via our NCR WCB Appeals Prep Page and advise us of your authorization for us to complete and submit the CNESST Authorization Letter on your behalf.
