PSAC’s bargaining team has reached a tentative agreement with the Salvation Army Booth Centre. The agreement secures fair wages, increases to leave provisions and stronger health and safety language. The bargaining team unanimously recommends ratification of the new agreement.

Members are invited to participate in a ratification process. You are required to attend a mandatory information session before voting. All members are welcome to also participate in an optional Q and A period after the information session. Please arrive in advance (especially if you have not yet signed your union card, so that you can fill out a union card prior to the info session).  We’ll take attendance to make sure members are able to vote.

Important information

To be eligible to vote, you must:

1. Ensure you are a member in good standing (MIGS)
2. Attend a mandatory information session from start to finish

You are required to be a Member in Good Standing (MIGS) to vote at a ratification vote. As a result, all Rand members (members who have not signed their union cards yet) will need to sign their union card before they can vote. Union cards will be available at the information sessions for those who need them.
