UNE 70390 Ratification Information Session – In Person (Operational Group & Postal Services Sub-Group)

The PSAC and the House of Commons Operational Group & Postal Services Sub-Group have reached a tentative agreement!

Members of the bargaining unit working at the House of Commons Operational Group & Postal Services Sub-Group are now invited to vote on their tentative agreement. The following is some information you will need to know prior to voting:

Info Session Dates Times and Locations

October 1st, 2025 – sessions between 12:00pm to 3:00pm

October 2nd, 2025 sessions between 6:00am to 3:00pm

Do not wait to register for the mandatory info session – Go ahead and register now even if you are waiting for your MIGS approval and/or your Rand status update.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

In order to be eligible to vote, you must:

1. Ensure you are a full member in good standing (MIGS Full)
2. Attend a mandatory (in-person) information session in its entirety (per PSAC Regulation 15)
3. Provide a personal email address (via the registration form below) in order to receive your (electronic) voter package containing your voting credentials. This will be provided once your attendance to the info session is recorded.

STEPS

Step 1: ENSURING YOU ARE A FULL MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING

In some situations, PSAC members are not yet, or have ceased being, members in good standing (MIGS) and lose the right to participate in ratification votes.  These include:

• Maintaining Your Status When on Extended leave
  • If you are on extended leave (e.g., long term disability, maternity or parental leave, etc.) you are no longer a member in good standing (MIGS), therefore, you must make a request to remain in good standing to the National President via this online requisition form. Once your request has been approved, please forward the confirmation you received by email to ncr-vote@psac-afpc.com in order to ensure your vote is counted.
• Signing Your Union Rand Card
  • If you have never signed a union card, please fill out the membership application card online which will update your Rand status during the voting period. Following your submission, please forward the email confirmation you will receive to: ncr-vote@psac-afpc.com which will ensure your vote is counted. 
  • If you have difficulty at any time in the process, please contact your PSAC Regional Office at ncr-vote@psac-afpc.com or by phone 613-741-4829.

Step 2: ATTEND A MANDATORY INFORMATION SESSION

• The PSAC constitution, Regulation 15C requires all members to attend a mandatory information portion of the session before they vote. The mandatory portion usually lasts about 10 to 20 minutes. These sessions will be held on the Simply Voting platform and will also allow members to ask questions after the mandatory portion, regarding the content of the tentative agreement. The date and time of the session is listed below.
  • Note, attendance will be tracked, and only those who attended the information session in its entirety, will have their member profile updated on the e-voting system, ensuring that they are eligible to vote.
• Technical notes
  • Please arrive the session 5 to 10 minutes early to address any technical problems in advance.

Step 3: CASTING YOUR RECEIVED VOTING CREDENTIALS

Only after you have attended a mandatory information session in its entirety, and your membership status has been confirmed, will you be eligible to vote. You will be able to vote online upon the scheduled opening of the voting platform. The voting period is from 7pm on Oct 1 and 2 to 11:59pm on Oct 2nd. Please verify your junk and promotional folders before calling or emailing. If you have issues voting after completely attending the info session and require assistance, please contact us by 12pm on Oct 2nd, please call 613-741-4829 or email ncr-vote@psac-afpc.com remember to include your PSAC ID, name and use a personal email address.

• PSAC members for whom we have a personal email will receive their voter package containing their voting credentials starting at 7pm on Oct 1st & 2nd, from Simply Voting, the PSAC voting platform used. (Please check your junk and promotions folder). 
• Your Elector ID# and Password (credentials) are required to cast your vote, if you did not receive it please call 613-741-4829 or email ncr-vote@psac-afpc.com

• This vote is by secret ballot. How you vote is entirely confidential.
